Wynn’s Fuel Biocide is a special “bactericidal” additive for professional use that acts on a broad spectrum, with both a curative and preventive function against the proliferation of microorganisms in fuels.
Eliminates bacteria, algae and fungi.
Prevents microbial proliferation by inhibiting the formation of algae.
It is soluble in hydrocarbons and residual water.
Does not alter the quality of fuels, and is completely combustible.
Neutralizes acids that could be produced by microorganisms.
Prevents filter clogging caused by mucilage originating from bacterial proliferation.
Add the product to the tank, preferably before refueling.
1. Curative treatment (to disinfect contaminated fuel tanks)
Add 10 litres of Fuel Biocide for every 10,000 litres of fuel.
Allow the product to act for a minimum of 3 days. It is recommended to filter the fuel
to eliminate residues of organisms.
2. Preventive treatment (to prevent bacterial growth in fuel tanks)
Add 5 litres of Fuel Biocide for every 10,000 litres of fuel.
The frequency of treatment depends on storage circumstances: weather conditions,
temperature and humid environment. (Fuel temperatures from 20 to 40°C, unfavourable
weather conditions and the presence of water accelerates contamination)
